President Donald Trump landed in Los Angeles this afternoon to assess the damage caused by the recent devastating wildfires that have ravaged our city. Air Force One arrived at LAX at approximately 2:55 p.m., accompanied by a delegation that featured First Lady Melania Trump. California governor, Gavin Newsom was there to greet Trump and the First Lady as soon as they landed.

The president and the governor met on the tarmac and exchanged a friendly handshake before addressing the assembled media together.

In his remarks, Trump expressed a strong desire to address the crisis, stating, “I appreciate the governor coming out and meeting me, We want to get the problem fixed. It's like you got hit by a bomb."
